Lin Qiushi opens his apartment door on a summer Friday night to find himself in a snowy forest in winter. To get home, he and a group of strangers must solve a mystery in a remote village, find a key, and escape death, as the worlds beyond the Doors are dangerous. Plus, who knows if the beautiful girl beside him will help or hurt him? But the Doors aren’t a punishment; they’re a reward. Those who survive the creatures’ wrath get precious time in the real world. The twelve Doors only appear to those who are already near death. If you make it through all twelve, you get a chance at a new life. But if you fail… If Lin Qiushi can’t adapt to the rules, he’ll soon find out what happens to those who aren’t meant to make it back out the Door.
